Guidelines
Rules Guidelines:
· Families are advised that they are representing the AustinStampede at
all team functions and will not do anything to embarrass themselves or
the team.
· All players are expected to participate in team sponsored community
events and team fund raising functions.
· If you must miss all or part of practice, prior notification is
necessary at least two days prior to practice. You must call one of the
coaches. Missing practice could result in loss of playing time at
tournaments.
· A player that is late to or misses more than a third of the practices
will be subject to loss of playing time or dismissal from the team.
· If you must miss a tournament, prior notice must be given, by the
Tuesday immediately prior to the tournament, unless a Family emergency
arises. Players are still responsible for all tournament fees.
· If either parent is unable to attend a tournament or practice with
their daughter, the parent must designate in writing who is responsible
for their daughter. That parent then becomes the designated parent for
the tournament. The player's parent needs to provide an insurance card,
description of health problems, a medical release and contact number for
the designated parent.
· Any player caught doing any illegal activities will be suspended from
the team.
AUSTINSTAMPEDE
MISSON STATEMENT
The mission of the Austin Stampede softball team is to learn the game of
softball through team work.
Coaches will teach fundamentals of the game and encourage each player to
be the best she can be.
Our players will respect their teammates, coaches, opposing teams and
umpires.
We will achieve our goals with the intention of having FUN.
